May 27, 2006 — Hilton Corporation signs a contract with V1S10N for a six-month agreement to provide product management services for a system that would take all Point of Sale transactions and break them out into their proper GLs by Food, Liquor, Beer, Wine, Other Beverages, and Miscellaneous items for Day Audit functions.
V1S10N opens website development division. April 15, 2008 — V1S10N branches into website development for small and mid-sized companies, developing WCHandyMemphis.org and SlaveHavenUndergroundRailroadMuseum.org for Heritage Tours in Memphis, Tennessee.
Lack of new projects leads to reduction of contractors across the board. April 1, 2012 — after almost 7 years, the partnership between Hilton Corporation and V1S10N Consulting Services comes to an end. Congratulations to the remaining contractors as they were converted to full-time Hilton employees — V1S10N wished them the best of luck with their futures.
I worked with two V1S10N consultants in a senior manager position at Hilton. One hates to use phrases like "whatever it takes" or "out of the box," but that's the sort of people we were staffed with. I say "whatever it takes" because I saw them work weekends, middle of the night, and holidays to help keep my Hilton users up and running. And by "out of the box," I mean they've had to create unique solutions for unusual and difficult problems. I would refer ANYONE to V1S10N!
